I was so impressed by the quality of the Atlas 8" pepper mill, that I subsequently bought this salt mill. I am thrilled by not only the solid workmanship of the mills, but how great they look in my kitchen. They are solidly built and will last longer than any others I've had. Great product and I would wholeheartedly recommend these to any one who has endured the disappointment of plastic mills that fall apart. These will NOT fall apart and they look and work professionally.

My husband wanted a salt mill to accompany the brass pepper mill we've had for 20+ years; this was an excellent choice. This salt mill produces a "fine" grind of sea salt with ease. It's easy to fill and looks great on the table. Given the corrosive nature of salt, if this lasts half as long as long as our pepper mill, it will have been well worth the price. My husband is very pleased.
